About

Our Mission

We invest private capital in under-performing commercial or multi-family real estate deals: typically 100 to 150 unit sizes, and overall valuations of $10 to $20 million. We’re actively growing our portfolio by purchasing these properties, then making upgrades and improvements over a small number of years to boost performance. We then refinance or sell, get investors paid, and often roll remaining funds into the next deal – wealth generation.

For those who’d like to get to know me a wee-bit more on the personal level…

… beyond the fact I was born and raised in Denver, CO (actually, I’ve lived all over the West Coast), these tidbits are for you:

I’m the oldest of three with one younger sister and brother, who now has two munchkins, my niece and nephew Nathan and Audrey.

Definitely a morning person, huge lover of breakfast foods (and Italian – Chicken Marsala in particular), who wakes up early to get work done so Kimberly and I can enjoy the rest of our day.

Normally a casually-dressed guy, I also know how to look fancy for nights out in exotic places.

Always been handy; started as a kid helping adults work on, remodel, update and finish homes or other real estate projects up through college where I began learning how to manage these types of projects at scale.

Avid reader – typically a book a week. Some of my favorite fictional authors are Terry Brooks, Piers Anthony, Tom Clancy, Vince Flynn, and Lee Childs.

Big into movies, especially suspense and ‘who done it?’ flicks like The Usual Suspects; anything to do with sailing, and the Marvel movies … although they’re getting slow.

The one thing Kimberly has consistently laughed at for the better part of a decade now is my penchant for ultra-corny jokes. I got some real knee-biters.

Kimberly Stewart, Chief Mate

Born and raised on the Central Coast of California, I grew up near and love the ocean. I developed a love for Colorado one Christmas when visiting. I loved it so much I actually purchased my first home in Castle Rock. Eric helped me completely renovate the house over 3 months and I lived there for almost 4 years. Colorado became my second home if though it is missing two things: the ocean I grew up with and my immediate family.

After 4 years Eric and I developed this crazy idea to go help others with their lives while sailing around the world. I bring over 15 years of well-rounded bookkeeping, accounting and financial analysis experience to our team and this endeavor. I’m known for my ability to recognize problems and implement solutions to address those problems.

I love being active and hobbies and activities I enjoy include surfing, ballroom dancing, cooking (especially baking), and of course – sailing. I’ve also always loved traveling and in high school made a goal to visit all the Hard Rock Cafe’s in the world! It’s an ever changing challenge that will become more interesting and entertaining from a sailboat.
