About Eric
Hi, I’m Eric Berger, an avid boater and founder of Neptune Capital Group who’s loved sailing since childhood, born and raised in Denver, CO. Got involved with real estate as a kid as well, then went on to earn a degree in Finance & Real Estate from Colorado State University, along with a Masters in Project Management from Colorado Technical University. Within a couple years of receiving my undergraduate degree, I’d bought my first home which is still in my rental property portfolio to this day. Fast forward a bit, and between 2015-2018 alone my team ran over $100 million in real estate projects, enabling my partner Kimberly and I to achieve our dream of managing Neptune Capital from our amazing sail boat as we journey from port to port across the globe.
In my personal career as a real estate investor I’ve bought and flipped a number of single family houses across the U.S. of course. I’ve networked and helped facilitate multi-family building deals and grown as a professional.
Through my team, in 2018 alone we successfully managed over $40 million, hiring designers, reviewing plans, working with contractors and specialists, overseeing their work on a daily basis, and making sure everything is completed on time squeaky clean…
…while forecasting future projects and getting papers signed…
Whew, what a journey!
Truth be told, my dream since childhood has always been to see the world through the prism of a boat under my feet, from Santa Barbara to South America; from Scotland/Ireland to Australia and New Zealand; from Fiji to the French Riviera. But it took a while. It took a ton of hard work over the span of two decades to reach a point where my work/life-journey could be done effectively, professionally, and smoothly.
